Dear Friend, My name is Dr. Marc Hagebusch and I am the head instructor and co-owner of Texarkana Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Kickboxing with my wife of 20 years, Jennifer. I want to personally thank you for checking us out online. I have trained in BJJ since 1995 and I am the only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt in East Texas (well, I was until I promoted 2 students to black belts on 4-17-10; congratulations Kevin and Matt!) . I also have trained in traditional martial arts (tae kwon do and karate), jeet kune do (Bruce Lee's style), kickboxing, wrestling, and judo. I'm a chiropractor, practicing in Texarkana (Back Pain Chiropractic). I have a 1 year old beautiful daughter, Carley. Texarkana Jiu Jitsu is the 1st martial arts school in the Texarkana area that taught Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. We offer the best training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), and functional fitness (including kettlebell classes, cardio kickboxing, and fitness bootcamps) in Texarkana! Some of our adult students choose to compete in the art of Brazilian jiu jitsu, grappling, and mixed martial arts (MMA) and they have done phenomenally well. We have an extremely successful competition team. We have the only Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) team in the area with a winning record. Plus, we are not a karate or tae kwon do school that has learned some limited Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Mixed Martial Arts… We are a real BJJ school with 2 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts teaching classes. But, I know that not everyone wants to compete… Most of our students want to get in better shape, reduce stress, have fun, develop self defense skills and self confidence… and this is where we really excel in helping our students achieve their goals!
